The formal hearing against Shahzaib Hasan in connection with the PSL corruption case has been set for June 1. The cricket player, who was provisionally suspended by the PCB in March and vowed to defy accusations against him, appeared in front of a PCB Anticorruption on Friday (April 21). According to an official statement, Shahzaib has been accused of breach of Articles 2.1.4; 2.4.4; And 2.4.5 of the PCB Anticorruption Code for Participants 2015.
"The Tribunal, in consultation with both parties, agreed on the procedure and deadlines to be adopted under the Anti-Corruption Code," an official statement said.
Retired Asghar Haider (chair), former PCB President Tauqir Zia and former wicketkeeper Wasim Bari, stated that the PCB will present an opening letter detailing all of their claims against the cricket player on May 4, And he gave Shahzaib until May 18 to present an answer. The statement also stated that PCB will have until May 25 to file a rebuttal to the cricket player's claims, if necessary, before the formal hearing process starts from June 1 on a day-to-day basis.

"I am innocent and I have done nothing wrong, I have reported the offer they made me to the Board, I will fight this case," Shahzaib said after several charges were pressed against him.
A similar procedure had been followed for Sharjeel Khan, whose formal hearing will begin on 15 May.
